ImageThe Blues Div 1s have won their 3rd straight game, with yet another comprehensive win, this time over the Ottawa Swans. The Blue senior squad have remarkably managed to keep their opponents to 2 goals in their past 3 games for a total of 43 points kicked against them. Unfortunately the Div 1 win was somewhat bittersweet as the Div 2s lost their second game for the season, and at the same time relinquishing their hold on the Parker-Anderson Cup - as the Saints managed to exact revenge for their loss in Round 3. Unfortunately no all the Blues players were able to make the trip to Ottawa for differing reasons, which meant both divisions were short their usual available numbers for selection. However this was no excuse for the defeat as the Saints showed why they were the inaugural Div 2 premiers in 2009. Hopefully the Blues will have another opportunity in the post season to reclaim the Parker-Anderson Cup as well and bragging rights over the Sainters.
