ImageAt footy clubs, sometimes you'll find some players who go by an annointed nickname more than they go by their real name. So much so that sometimes members (especially new ones) don't even know that players real name. One of those players at the Blues would have to be Adam Martin. Adam WHO you ask? Well Hollywood of course.

This weekend sees Hollywood reach 50 games as a Blues player in the third round in a row where the Blues have had one of their players reach the 50th game milestone. The Blues face the Guelph Gargoyles in Hamilton as part of a double header as the Wildcats face off against the undefeated Toronto Eagles in what will be a massive day of footy in the Hammer.

Hollywood has been with the club since the club's inception into the OAFL in 2006, generally playing on the wing or up forward where he utilizes his speed and aerobic capacity to full use. He was appointed Deputy Vice Captain in the 2008 season before the Captaincy structure was revised back to a simpler Captain & Vice Captain set up in 2010. But despite the lack of the official title Hollywood has maintained his standing as one of the club leaders by the way he trains and prepares for games  - often leading the pack in the pre-season running stakes.

Off the field Hollywoods (who is a buyer for Harry Rosen - hence his fashion sense and resultant nickname) has been a huge contributor, assisting in providing prizes and merchandise for the clubs fundraising activities as well as assisting with the set up of the Blues Hugo Boss line of polo shirts.

The club would like to congratulate Hollywood in reaching his 50th game milestone and would like to thank him for his ongoing support of the football club. We look forward to many more years of the man affectionately known as Hollywood running out as a Blues player.
