![]() Lisa & Dan Lock with Joe Sullada Last Saturday saw the Blues hold their 2010 AGM with a new exec voted in.A brilliant turn out of around 30 members attended the meeting which saw the club present its list of achievements in 2009 as well as reporting on the club's off field operations. In summary - the club is as healthy as it's ever been in its short 4 year history and 2010 is starting to look like yet another super season for the Blues. The club also recently announced it's first official club event with the launch of the 80's Prom Night Party. The party is going to on Saturday 6th February 2010. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online via paypal or credit card. To purchase your ticket click HERE. In late breaking news, the Blues very band, The Bridle Party have been late inclusions on the list of entertainment on this night. It's going to be very interesting to see what they have to offer for 80s repertoire. The Blues Shinny games have been going on - organized by new Club President Daniel Lock. Full schedule is available on the website. But there's pretty much a game on every Saturday night. The Blues official pre-season training has been slated to begin early February. With the University of Toronto Varsity Bubble booked for Saturday mornings. Blues farewell: The club would like to take this opportunity thank outgoing players Matty Clow, Shane Buzza, Steve "Scuba" Clark and Chris "Lefty" Liefting. Matty is back in sunny Mebourne, but speculation persists that he may be making a triumphant come back to the T-Dot. Buzza has been travelling throughout Sth America - the last report had him in Argentina hanging with Evita. Scuba has also continued with his world travels and is currently in London we believe. While Lefty will be returning back to his home of Melbourne Australia. These four Aussies are highly valued members of the club and will be greatly missed by all and sundry. We wish you all the best boys. Below are some pictures from the Blues Holiday Party as well as one of the club's Shinny (ice-hockey) games. ![]() Guests gathering for the gift exchange ![]() Knackers Dobson rocking the mike.. ![]() Lefty and his friends ![]()
