The Central Blues, already out of playoff contention, closed out 2011's home/away season facing a Guelph side ramping up for their finals campaign. The year's ladder positions were reflected by the resulting 121-24 loss to the Gargoyles.

It was another rough weekend as the Central Blues fielded an inexperienced lineup against the Toronto Rebels. Although courage and endeavor was found in their rookies, bad luck around goal and one quarter of poor footy resulted in a 87-39 loss.

With an Australian departure the previous weekend of six senior Blues members to play for Northwind and represent Canada in the International Cup 2011, the diminished squad remaining to take on the Broadview Hawks in round 12 came up short 96-32.

The Central Blues looked to avenge their round four 48 point defeat to the Toronto Eagles as a proper send-off for six of its club members departing for Australia to represent Canada's Northwind in the Aussie Rules International Cup. Unfortunately dominant individual Eagle performances and missed Blue opportunities found the good guys fall 87-56.

Another summer scorcher had the Blues matching up against their downtown rivals, the Toronto Dingos, which played out similar to their round 1 matchup. A gutsy team effort allowed the Blues to come out with a hard-fought 44-36 win.
