The Blues continue to get record attendance at Saturday morning trainings at Monarch Park. Thirty seven men and women worked hard for the allotted hour with many new faces and a few returned from the glory years of past.   Before practice started the first group of Blues stepped up to the starting line to run 3k. It is expected that all Blues new and returning have a crack at positing their best 3k time before the start of practice on February 9th. The Blues will then all run another 3k at the end of preseason to show how much they have improved! Setting the time to beat for the men was Steve (Snorkel) Rutledge with the only sub 13min time of 12:36. For the women Jen (J-trek) Nicholls set the early pace with at 14:07 time.
